We sent our videographer to check out the route from the station for you. The walk is just under a mile and took him a little more than 15 minutes.

Park and Ride buses also stop 5 minutes’ walk from the cathedral.

There are direct rail connections to Reading from London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, and Edinburgh, plus many other destinations in South Wales, the South West and South East of England.  Our designer checked out the walk from the station to the town hall for you – just two and a half minutes along Blagrave Street.

Park and Ride buses also stop on Blagrave Street and are accessible from junctions 10 and 11 on the M4 motorway.
